Awsaj Academy, a member of Qatar Foundation, invites students across Qatar to participate in the “Palestine Taught Me” Art Exhibition & Competition—a platform to express solidarity, raise awareness, and promote humanitarian values through art.
This exhibition serves as a tribute to the resilience and strength of the Palestinian people, using art as a powerful medium to advocate for their cause. Join us in spreading awareness, fostering empathy, and celebrating creativity.
About the Exhibition
“Palestine Taught Me” is more than just an art exhibition—it is a movement to inspire compassion, highlight cultural identity, and encourage artistic expression. With the support of the Akhlaquna Committee, student artworks will be evaluated and celebrated for their impact and originality.
Competition Goals
- Advocate for Palestine through artistic expression, capturing emotions, history, and resilience.
- Promote human values such as mercy and empathy while encouraging peace and unity.
- Foster collaboration between students and teachers in Qatar’s educational institutions.
- Create an inspiring environment that nurtures creativity and self-expression.
- Strengthen national and Islamic identity through meaningful artwork.
- Showcase student creativity in support of the Palestinian cause.

Competition Details
Participation Criteria
- Open to individual and group submissions.
- The artwork must align with the exhibition’s theme: “Palestine Taught Me”.
- All drawing styles are accepted: black & white, colored (oil, watercolor, wax, etc.).
- Artwork must be on canvas, with no size restrictions.
- Art must not reflect any political or sectarian bias.
- Submitted artworks will be auctioned for charity and will not be returned.
Evaluation Criteria
- Adherence to competition guidelines.
- Relevance to the theme and alignment with the exhibition’s objectives.
- Creativity & originality—no copied or repeated works.
